Doc welcomes founder and owner of War Marching Marketing, Ro Kohli, to the show and they talk about how Ro got into the metal scene in Central New Jersey as a teenager, how he went from releasing a local rock zine to eventually landing a job at Roadrunner records as a Tour Coordinator, his transition from that job to becoming the head of the Roadcrew, the Roadrunner street team, what he learned about marketing from touring, how he ended up as head of marketing for Century Media records, securing Alien V. Predator bus wraps and tour support money for God Forbid and Lacuna Coil during Ozzfest 2004, and why he left Century Media and eventually started his own company, War Machine Marketing.

Doc Joins Weekly Heavy Metal Talk Show ‘Last Words’ as Co-Host

I am pretty psyched to announce that I will be joining the weekly heavy metal talk show “Last Words” as a regular co-host. “Last Words” is presented by metal news site The Pit and I join fellow co-hosts Jordan Olds (Two Minutes to Late Night) and Katy Irizarry (Season Of Mist / Loudwire).

It’s pretty funny because I was a featured guest on the show just a few weeks ago and we had so much fun, I was offered a regular slot. Basically, we breakdown select heavy albums that are released each week and debate the metal news of the week. I’m definitely looking forward to talking a gang of shit and listening to lots of new music. I can’t complain. Check out clips of my first episode as co-host below.
